Drat, I thought'd be about Gulliver's Travels...
Quote seemed kind of arb; admittedly I'm completely unaware of the event, whatever it was. Despite Kanye West's weird speech style it wasn't too difficult to piece most of the puzzle together. A lot of nice flashy stuff, but also a lot of common crossword answers, not the bad kind of crossword-ese, more the regular sort that keeps a puzzle like this glued together. I still wonder though: either your school has got a lot of crossword heads, or it's got a lot of puzzled kids!
Things that seemed slightly off: 1. Would've preferred, a former at "20A", though I suppose it's not exactly wrong... 2. Shouldn't 24A read 3-Down 106-Across sans "and"?
