Another extremely clever and original theme idea, Xan. Are you posting this here because it was rejected by an editor? I have a hard time believing anyone would have turned this down. |

Absolutely Amazing NYT puzzle, Xan, and thank you for the (also very fun) second puzzle! I asked for the "anatomy of a puzzle" and "poof!" you post one here. Thanks! It was very interesting to see how you came up with such a novel idea... Was originally going to post this at your blog itself, but it insists on audio verification, which proved difficult as varsity computers lack speakers... |

Loved it! Seems like a perfect NYT Wed or Thurs to me. Can't imagine what Mr. Shortz was thinking when he turned it down... But keep at it, please, and post the shouldn't-have-been-rejected-but-were here! |
